PT SMFL Leasing Indonesia (SMFLI) in collaboration with a non-profit organization named Lindungi Hutan who focuses on forest preservation through technology, collaboration and conservation actions in Indonesia successfully conduct Corporate Social Responsibility activities by planting 1000 mangrove trees at Mangunharjo Beach, Semarang, Central Java on July 25th 2023. In the same activity, SMFLI also donated planting tools to Mangrove farmers.

Background

1. SMFLI implements an annual work program related to corporate social activities by helping environmental sustainability.

2. As an action to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially in climate action (SDGs No. 13), life below water (SDGs No.14), and Good Health and Well-Being (SDGs No.3).

Objectives

1. To contribute by conducting social activities that had impact into environmental aspects with the aim of preventing abrasion on Mangunharjo Beach.

2. To support the implementation of SDGS through planting mangrove trees in order to maintain natural ecosystems by creating new habitats for various types of plants and wildlife.

SMFLI in collaboration with Lindungi Hutan successfully planted 1000 Mangrove Tree at Mangunharjo Beach, Semarang, Central Java, with theme ‘A Thousand Tree for Better Future’ in July 25th 2023. In this activity, SMFLI also provided donation in the form of planting tools to Mangrove farmers as planting partner named Kelompok Mangrove Lestari as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility.
